Between 2010-2012 School no.26 "Ion Creanga" Galati will be a member of European project "Europa bewegt sich - Europe in motion". European project coordinator is Grundschule Burgdamm from Bremen, Germany; partners are: Korkalovaaran Peruskoulu from Rovaniemi, Finland, Scholi-Moraiti from Athens, Greece, Hasköy Primary School from Istanbul, Turkey, Záladná skola Alexandra Dubceka from Olawa, Poland, Ecole Paul Langevin from Begles, France, Sääksjärven Koulu from Lempaala, Finland, Rīgas Valda Zālīša pamatskola from Riga, Latvia, and of course, School No.26 "Ion Creanga" fron Galati, Romania.

This project is tasked to prepare the special concerns of the schools involved in the project, training students for life in a united Europe. An understanding of European cultural and linguistic diversity should be initiated and developed. Promoting intercultural learning is very important, it allows the adolescent to find his own identity. To this end, an encounter with other cultures is very important, is demanding the development of empathy and tolerance. To implement these objectives, we selected and prepared a project for the elderly.Theme "bewegt sich Europe - Europe in motion" refers to the appearance of movement - the physical movement in games, sports, dance, etc. - the language of movement by teaching thematic concepts (glossary, dictionary and DVDs), games, songs.
